Opposition to The Northern Gateway Continues

Well I'm jumping into this half-way, although I've been following the situation for about a year.

This article gives an excellent overview of the reasons for opposition against the pipeline that Enbridge and, to some extent, the Canadian government, are trying to push through. It focuses on the Wet'suwet'en, who have always been one of the most outspoken Nations in claiming their rights. Although each Nation is unique, in many cases we share values and cultural systems. The things the Wet'suwet'en chiefs are statements that have been mentioned in my own community, and if Enbridge refuses to consider them, it cannot possibly claim to have community approval of this ridiculous project.
